Well, before I got to the end of your post, my crock pot spaghetti sauce came to mind immediately. However, since you can't tolerate tomato, I'd have to say either Kree's mac & cheese or my "Party Strata."
Hubby's fave is the spaghetti sauce and lentil soup with sausage (but both dishes have tomatoes in them). He also likes lemon chicken or spinach turkey loaf. The turkey loaf has a little ketchup in the piquant sauce, but you can eliminate the sauce completely if you wish.
However, if it's a dish that you want to take to a "pot luck" or Sunday social, then the "Party Strata" wins, hands down.
It'll be interesting to read others' answers in this thread.
