I tried one of those Ranch dressing recipes once -- I believe it was baked "new" potatoes -- and, although I followed the recipe to the letter, they came out WAAAAY too salty! We couldn't eat them and had to throw them out. Of course, we're older and can't have salt anyway, so we're real sensitive to anything salty.
