bread machine substitutions???       12/25/06 02:21 PM Edit Reply Quote tayjay Reged: 11/28/05 Posts: 64 Loc: Auburn University, Alabama In all bread machine recipes, can you substitute applesauce for the soy margarine or butter? Or would that not work since it's a bread machine and your using yeast? I don't really know much about bread machines but I'm using my mom's for the first time. I always sub when I bake sweet breads in the oven, but I just wasn't sure if it would interfere somehow in the machine.
