Thank you for answering, and I understand that the wine cooks out of the food ... but I just will not buy alcohol or keep it in the house. I am alcohol and drug free since May 1979, and years ago that took some effort, now it is just my practice.
I was really just wondering if there was some particular item that would be best to substitute for the wine in this recipe.
