What a long strange trip it's been       12/09/05 11:33 AM Edit Reply Quote Sand Reged: 12/13/04 Posts: 4490 Loc: West Orange, NJ (IBS-D) I'm back from a trip that included a month in Alabama right on the Gulf - beautiful - and a brief stay in Houston, then home via Arkansas, Tennessee, Virginia, and so on. I can see y'all have posted some new recipes that look great - I can't wait to try them. I did some cooking for family and friends while I was away and there were two dishes I made that got rave reviews: Twice Baked Sweet Potatoes - I made these for Thanksgiving and they went over great. I made them in a 9x13 pan and it occurred to me - too late - that I could probably have put some pineapple slices on top to dress the dish up a little.
