I made these again today and made a double batch. Only I got interrupted by the phone and only added 1/2 C sugar instead of 1 1/2 cups! The texture was different -- more cake-like -- and they obviously weren't as sweet, but they were actually still really good. So if you're looking to cut back on sugar, it's very doable. obviously this will up the fat though!
