I did do a search 1st to see if anyone had asked this before. Since I really never cooked much until now I don't even know how to make a homemade gravy or sauce if I wanted to. So.... what I'm wondering is if anyone has figured out a way to make a "white sauce"... I recall when I was young... Mom would make a white sauce....not too thick... from a package with dry powder...mixed it in the blender with milk I think? and then heated it up and added salad shrimp to it. She served it over white rice with just some salt & pepper. oh, and green beans..... yum....
