Hi,
I'm new here, am in the process of being diagnosed, Dr. is pretty sure I have IBS-A (mostly C). I have already started following a lot of the tips I have found on this website and plan to get Heather's book as soon as I can (have to wait until have money again).
I want to make some safer holiday treats and one of my and my families favorites are the crispy peanut butter balls with a chocolate coating. Before I would just buy and big Hershey's bar and some edible wax to make the chocolate coating, but know that is a big no no on the diet. Can anyone suggest a safe alternative to that. I did see something in the store the other day that looked like it had no dairy in it, can't remember the name though, oh it was Almond Bark (but chocolate colored). I don't know if that is safe or not, I can't remember the fat content either, but it is made for dipping things, so though that would be an alternative.
Any advice you can give me would be great.
Thank you, Debra
