This is wonderful--I marinated chicken cubes in it and made shish kabobs on the grill with yellow squash mushrooms and potaoes--also added some rice on the side. This is the first meal I have had when I didnt feel deprived. Here's the recipe
1/2 c soy sauce 1/2 c sugar 1 1/2 t red wime vinegar 1 T oil 1 minced garlic clove (I used a "pinch" of garlic powder) 3/4 t ginger
Mix together and add chicken. you can also make the marinade add it to the chicken and put in the freezer--thaw when ready to cook. For those of us who have family members eating beef this marinade is awesome on steak too.
