How much soluble fiber/grain is too much?

I'm finally following your suggestions, Heather, and am so grateful. I'm about 7 pounds underweight now and I started your suggested way of eating (with the tummy fiber) along with shifting to a vegan diet.

I'm up to 10 oz of grain four times a day. Is that ok? I may need to up that to 12 oz per meal. And just wonder if that's too much or ok if I feel ok eating it.

I'm still highly sensitive to many foods, and grains are the only really safe food in larger quantity. In trying to to get my calories up to where I will start gaining, it seems the only place to do so is with my grains. I'm also using an oat milk from Elmhurst that only has oats and water. Fruit twice a day. Plenty of protein with single ingredient protein powders. And adding some veg in. Pretty much pureeing it all except the grain. No added fat. And the pain has significantly subsided!

I just want to get back to a healthier weight. I'm 5'3.5 and 67 years old. Weight is 121. And I have osteoporosis, so should be a bit heavier anyway.

Thanks so much,
Susan
