I need an IBS safe ingredient to thicken sauces, gravies, etc. What can I use?

Lots of good cooking options here! Try cornstarch, arrowroot powder, or, if you're not gluten intolerant, plain old unbleached white flour. All are safe for an IBS diet and traditional thickeners for sauces.

If you're just trying to emulsify, and not thicken, you can even use your Tummy Fiber acacia - just whisk into oil/liquid mixtures until blended.
