Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | Just saying hello

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. Had a nice vacation in New Mexico recently - also a family reunion in Texas - so did lots of traveling. I watched my food intake very carefully and my in-laws were kind in providing for my diet needs. One thing you need to remember in New Mexico is that chile is not the kind from the can. These are red and green chiles and they can be mild to very hot. I think I'm ok with them on foods - pretty good on eggs. -- It was a nice trip, but of course I had to get back to work. Our family has taken on another challenge as now my mother-in-law is undergoing chemo and radiation. The diet she is on is similar to an IBS diet. -- I am excited about baseball all star game in Houston, but I can pretty much forget about the Astros this year -- this was supposed to be their big year, but it has been very disappointing. -- I might not be able to go to Las Vegas, but if anyone needs driving route suggestions I might be of some help. Just let me know.
