Hi, I was diagnosed with ibs last year and the condition has been relatively kind to me until recently when I had a bowel obstruction. This was the most painful and uncomfortable thing that I have ever experienced in my life (after childbirth). It is almost two weeks ago since this happened, which I was hospitalised for two nights. The swelling in my stomach has gone down a great deal and I don't look seven months pregnant anymore! I still don't think I have fully recovered from this as I'm still sore and my stomach swells often (especially after eating food). I was looking for some advice on this, if anyone has experienced this and if what I'm going through just now is just the usual symptoms of ibs? Thanks
