Welcome to the board

According to NYU Langone Medical Center "At one time it was thought that fennel had estrogen-like effects, making it a phytoestrogen. However, subsequent research has tended to indicate that fennel does not have significant phytoestrogen activity."

The Complementary Medicine Database at Cox College say "Anyone with an estrogen-dependent cancer (e.g., some breast cancer patients) should avoid fennel in large quantities until the significance of its estrogen-like activity is clarified.

Each peppermint capsule contains only 20 mg of fennel oil. This very small amount of fennel oil is unlikely to have significant, if any, estrogens.
