I'm new - just found this board after I read Eating for IBS, which I received from a friend. I was recently diagnosed with IBS and have a gastroscopy Monday to rule out anything "more serious" due to my unexplained weight loss of 25 lbs over the past year. I have been eating following the guidelines in the book and for the most part, I feel better than I have in so long. I'm cautiously optimistic that I can start feeling good again. I have four kiddos and a hubby to keep me running so not feeling like garbage all the time would really come in handy! Hope to make friends here soon!
