Thank you! The past 6-7 years have not been easy for me. However, I'm am learning to adjust to my new normal and my limitations.

I feel very passionate about the MM cause as I feel it can really help a lot of people with a wide variety of illness and issues. I think once people become more informed about the benefits of cannabis and see that we are normal, everyday people that go to work and pay taxes, peoples perceptions will change.

I just find it very odd that people will accept the fact that I am ill and in pain so its ok to load me up on oxycodone 40mg twice a day AND 2 vicodin every 6 hours a day and tell me to get a scooter chair if it hurts too much to walk. I don't even remember 6 months of my life from pain pills that I took EXACTLY as I was prescribed by a pain management doctor. I won't even tell you what HELL the withdrawal was. Not to mention the THOUSANDS of people that die from prescription pain pills yearly. All thats ok but if I chose to treat myself, with a doctors recommendation no less, with a plant that grows naturally-than I must be a criminal and a druggie.

Thats what this expo is about. Teaching and learning. Acceptance. Control of our own health care.
