I know that feeling of losing his wedding ring. About two years ago, my husband who can't wear his ring to work, went to put his on and it was gone. He told me he thought he lost it. He used to be real bad about laying it down anywhere. So we searched the house and found nothing. A few days later I went to put on my engagement ring, it was missing. We finally figured out that someone must have broken into our house when one of ran to the store or something. We would occasionally leave a door unlocked to run to the convenience store or grab a bite. I cried for almost a month. I couldn't get a replacement for either ring. His I bought at a store that went out of business a year later and mine wasn't sold anymore. He had bought me a ruby ring to wear because the original plan was for me to get my grandmother's wedding set. I needed to get my ring sized for my right hand and I had never gotten around to doing it. I still get bummed out over it. I am at least thankful that we have pictures of both rings. Ya'll were lucky that it got to be replaced. He now has a gold band that he wears when he's not at work.
