Imipramine/ Anti-depressents       07/28/03 08:08 AM Edit Reply Quote Anxious Reged: 07/28/03 Posts: 8 Does anyone know anything about Imipramine, specifically whether it has every been linked to suicidal thoughts or withdrawal pains? My boyfriend (who suffers from IBS) was prescribed 25 mg, which made him nauseus and dizzy. He tried cutting down to 10 mg and then working his way back up to 25 (over approx. 6 days), but once more felt nauseus and dizzy. He, therefore, decided to stop taking the medication, but suffered from "suicidal thoughts which I could not shake" the following day and then 4 days of worse pain than he has ever had (from IBS).
