Nothing to do with 'allowed' or not. People can post what they want. Read other threads on this forum too, there are some here that this was not their way forward, just like any other treatment.
Don't get the program before you do your homework - You are right to learn about the failures as well as the successes.
And perhaps the failures will convince you not to buy the program -
However, thankfully, most people are encouraged and find hope from stories where people have been helped, and more often than not - they succeed as well - but not all.
It is not a cure and it does not work for everyone - some are not helped at all, some are helped a bit, some are helped a lot, some are helped after repeating the program - everyone is different - however, the vast majority do find they feel better than before they started the program.
Overall, it has been reported in various studies that hypnotherapy for IBS doesnt work for about 25% which of course, could be true in the general population. And of course, that means that it does work for at least 75%.
If you want to see some more stats regarding the program, look at the hypnosis link -
"It's interesting to note the significant difference in success rates for this IBS-specific (gut-directed) self-hypnosis program versus general hypnotherapy tapes. In contrast to Mahoney's 80-90% success rate, general hypnotherapy tapes featuring standard relaxation techniques and visualization exercises have only produced an average 57% improvement rate for IBS patients."
If you want to read negative reports, just scan this forum and you will find some here and there -
Also, you can go to Amazon and read the 25 reviews there - you will find 9 stinker reviews and 16 five and four star decent ones - so that's 64% decent review and 36% not so hot. Still shows more being helped than not - and for those who gave a poor review, some had other issues going on.
Most folks consider the program once all else has failed as a very last resort. I know I did. Almost 20 years of nothing working until I found this program.
Hope you find what works for you, it is always a good thing to make an educated decision.
Should you decide to go with the program, there is FREE support along the way if needed - very cost effective overall.
All the best to you.
PS - I also believe that God strengthens us too... Only way to get through life some days...
