Listening during a difficult emotional time

I am so sorry to learn about your dad - this is a very difficult time for you, and I send you thoughts of care and strength.
While it is advisable to not use the program during illness and difficult times, the ultimate choice is yours in this case. There are two rules of thought here - for just 'regular' illness, of course, it is best not to start or use the program, so you could even skip a few days while ill, because those thoughts or feelings can be linked to the program sessions - in the same way, it could possibly be that thoughts and worry of your father could be linked to the sessions, so that when you do them later, thoughts of this hard time could be brought back to mind. However, there is another side to this, and that is that during difficult times, you may take on added benefit from the sessions, they may help to calm you, and also to allocate extra energy that you need in a more stressful time. So given these two options, if it were me, I would continue to listen on days that I felt I needed to calm myself and rest under the stress of what is going on in my life.
I hope this helps a bit, and again, my sincerest good wishes to you at this time.
