IBS and Gastric bypass       09/10/09 01:50 PM Edit Reply Quote kimberlyM Reged: 09/10/09 Posts: 3 Hi folks I am new here and wonder if anyone has had gastric with IBS. I was just recently told I had bacteria overgrowth syndrome in the non functioning part of my GI system and am trying to follow the diet too. M worst symtom is extreme distension with belching and farting for hours.I have elimanated everything that was in the books and have been on flagyl an antibiotic to kill off the exxtra bacteria. Started probiotics today. Any suggestions or sharing of similar situations would be welcome. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
