I only used yaz for about 6 months, before that I used NuvaRing and I can't remember what pill I used before that. I always have gotten bad diarrhea when I have my period until I went off birth control. I do not know if the two are related or if it's just coincidence that I don't have trouble with that anymore. As I've gotten older, I noticed that the birth control seemed to lower my sex drive (it's back to normal now) and it caused brown splotches on my skin, which is why I tried yaz since it has a very low dose of estrogen. I'm glad to be off of it, but still don't know if it affected my IBS! Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
