There were other girls there who chose to "purge" through excessive exercise. They were considered just as bulimic as people who chose to make themselves vomit or abuse laxatives. They would feel guilty after eating and then try and exercise their "mistake" away. They felt horrible, guilty, and just paniced if they weren't able to exercise. It is a real addiction!
