I'm definitely up for it!
Snorkie, I'm down a few pounds, and doin' REAL well with the program, now that I've cut out their processed foods and using the WW recipes instead, substituting soy products for the dairy. However, the classes are TERRIBLE. The lecturer is BOR-RING! I get absolutely NOTHING out of them. I'm thinking of dropping out of the classes and sticking with just the online program, which I love. I don't need the classes for anything except weigh-in, but I can do that at home here since my scales weigh me exactly the same as theirs. I get no support from the classes at all, so there's no point in me blowing my money on them. I can SOOOOO do this with the online program alone because I am DRIVEN.
Yeah, I'm definitely up to a WW thread here, but I don't know if we have enough folks for it. WW's Challenge Central seems to be a pretty good place, but I'm not nearly as familiar with that Board as I am this one.
Regardless, I'm up for it! I am SOOO into this! I've given myself 8 months to get my cholesterol and BP down, not to mention my weight, and I'm definitely gonna do it, you BET!
I love your idea.
