Hi there... I just wanted to give a quick hello to everyone. I've posted a few questions on other boards, but I haven't been here yet.

I recently decided that I need to stop my weight gain. I'm up to 235 right now and I'm very uncomfortable. My back hurts, my stomach hurts, my pants don't fit, I don't feel happy about my self image, etc. etc. etc.

I started walking in December, but I'm having trouble sticking to it by myself. However, I've decided to make this a commitment to myself, so that will change. In addition, I'm going to start yoga classes this week. So, the exercise part of the "diet" is covered.

For the most part what I eat is pretty good (IBS safe), I just eat more than I should. My portion control is going much better these days, but I want to eat all the time! I also feel guilty that I don't eat very many vegetables and fruits.

Here are my questions:
- Do fruit and veggie juices serve as good alternatives to cooking and eating regular veggies? I have a juicer and I would love a reason to use it daily.

- Any suggestions on good diet and IBS safe supplements that help curb appetites and/or assist with weight loss?

Thanks in advance!
~ Lisa
