As a new poster...       05/15/05 09:39 AM Edit Reply Quote Cyndy Reged: 03/05/05 Posts: 1301 I thought it might help to see what other people were eating for meals so that I could get a better handle on what I could eat safely for my meals. I'm getting tired of plain cream of rice, rice, canned fuit, carrots, and more rice! I thought I could get some insightful ideas to get a more varied, but still safe diet. Maybe it would help to go back a while and see what the older posts say. Maybe the wording would be more complete. I am so symptomatic that I don't dare cheat yet or stray from Heather's basic guidelines at all yet. Thanks again for the explanation. I appreciate you taking the time to explain it all to me. BTW, isn't it hard to do a vegetarian diet and still manage the IBS? With all the veggies and fruits? How do you get your protein? I can't do soy, so maybe that is why it wouldn't work for me. I'll have to check out the vegetarian menus from anyone who report in. Doesn't seem like many people are reporting in though. Too bad, it could be very helpful.
