Hi Pumer - don't usually read this board...so glad I did! I had open rny almost 3 years ago this April - 100 pounds. I think I always had IBS-C but, until this past summer when I had an attack an agonizing..call 911 attack- then continuous attacks, it wouldn't have bothered me if it was just "C". I had hernia repair/tt two summers ago and while in the hospital I had this same agonizing pain in my back/stomach. I think that is when my IBS-pain started. They just gave me an ambien to put me to sleep. Anyway, we must chat offline. There are also a couple more people here who have had gastric bypass. Please write me at my e-mail in my profile.
