Hi - adding in a soluble fiber supplement and gradually getting your dose up to probably 12-15 grams per day total, divided into at least two different doses, should stop the urgency and help with bowel control. Soluble fiber regulates bowel motility so it forces normal peristalsis and water content in the bowel, which prevents the spasms causing the urgency and diarrhea.

Use the Imodium as needed but as you get your soluble fiber dose up you should be able to reduce and then not use the Imodium. Details here https://www.helpforibs.com/supplements/sol_fiber1.asp

XOXO
