I eat it in spades. Buy the organic powder and then mix with water to a paste then add water 'til a drinkable consistency. It actually helps feed good baceria in the gut and I find it extremely beneficial.
I have severe IBS-D. However, start slow and be sure you can tolerate it. Also, the caps are way more expensive than the powder. And always buy organic.

I also find digestive enzymes extremely helpful but that is because I actually don't make my own enzymes-a lot of people with IBS don't have the enzyme issue. I also have no good bacteria in the gut so am on hardcore probiotic therapy. It's hard to say yet whether that is all a lot of thew cause of my IBS or it has just triggered it and I may have IBS forever..I hope it helps and that eventually I can be "cured" but in the meantime for sure Heather's diet is the only thing that I feel I can eat relatively safely.
