IBS Is Keeping Me From Getting Properly Medicated-Who Can Relate?

I have Asperger's and with it I have OCD, GAO anxiety issues, and depression.

For years I have been under medicated, and mentally I needed more help. I was taking:
-600 mg trileptal, 1 mg clonazapam, 200 mg trazedone

which only moderately helped.
The Dr. tried:
-Zoloft, Visitril, Remeron...but they caused constipation.
(My IBS is constipation and bloating which I did get under control).

I now have been on prozac two weeks (1st week 5 mg, 2nd 10 mg) and it is helped me no doubt with anxiety and obsessive thoughts. But like the others, I am suffering from constipation and bloated. I am dry most of the day, I will get a BM at least every other day, sometimes more, but it is much more incomplete.

To resolve, we have:
-Tried lactulose...I sometimes would get a BM of some sort (passed gas, small movement) within an hour, but that was it.
Even when I did have episodes of D, much much less was removed, I clearly am blocked.

Today, though I already took lactulose, that is it, and I have started mirlax in addition to citrucel. I will try this over the next few days.

My questions:
1) Have you had this problem?
2) How have you resolved?
-I feel as if I have two choices---be mentally unstable or suffer with IBS....one or the other.

I hate to give up prozac but if by mid week I am not better I see no other option.

Please advice on how you have been able to get properly medicated without compromising much on IBS. Thanks.
