I remember incidences with the cheese in Italy in college and the time I ate strawberries & ice cream on an empty stomach in my 20s, but I did not get full-blown, horrendous scared-to-go-anywhere-for-months IBS until I was 32. I was diagnosed with post-infectious IBS when I was 33. I am now 39. It took a few years of following the IBS diet carefully, but I would say I'm about 90% back to normal. I eat almost almost everything I did before, just not necessarily in the same quantities. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
