My recent GI visit confirmed my suspicions. He says there is no reason to think I have anything other than IBS. Since my D and C are so infrequent it would be highly unlikely that I have an intolerance or allergy. My bloating of course is caused by spasms in the gut and he recommended peppermint caps then levbid if this doesn't work. I am sure someone could have celiac's without being skinny. I bet they have other symptoms though. I too fear just having IBS! It is very depressing to think of having no hope of feeling better.

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
