Amount of fiber needed varies person to person but you should be able to eat lots of fiber and take acacia too. Acacia is great for other things besides making you go. It is a prebiotic and helps with bloating and keeping things happy. Eating veggies that contain insoluble fiber can be helped by taking acacia. It will definitely not cause urgency or anything and it won't make you poop more times per day. It just makes things run more smoothly. I take 16grams total acacia 2 heaping tablespoons that is and eat about 30 grams fiber a day. I don't have C or D but soft easy poop. Hope this helps.

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
