I am trying to do some research into a possible 'IBS personality'. How many people eat too fast? How many grind their teeth or bite nails? Who here describes themself as nervous in social situations or tends to get stressed or worried about things like that? How many grew up not wanting to answer nature's call, either number one or two? Do you think you would not have IBS so bad if you had gotten used to going to the bathroom whenever you feel like it without any embarrassment? Is anyone here super casual about that kind of thing? Is anyone laid back, moves and eats slowly and never really worries? -------------------- IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages: "You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
