Just thought id post since i havent been on in awhile. I am an IBS-C and just recently started having bad attacks after a nine year lull. I believe stress was the major factor. BUt thanks to this site I believe that eating this way greatly reduced my pain and episodes. I lost 5 pounds during this time but just recently put 3 back on. I am currently incorporating insoluble fiber back into my diet after eating none. I have already been eating cooked vegies, tomato sauce, and fruit smoothies which accounts for some IF but I dont know how much to get and the safest way to get it. I like to eat fresh fruit and vegies but am afraid to try. I would consider myself stable, since I only use Bentyl as a preventative. Any suggestions? Or should I just stay away from fresh fruit, and vegies like salad?(I have eaten a salad after a good SF meal and beleive i had no problems)
