Do reflux meds aggravate IBS?       01/09/07 07:38 AM Edit Reply Quote TeresaLouise Reged: 11/29/06 Posts: 147 Hi, Does anyone who has IBS-C and reflux find that they can't tolerate any of the prescription reflux meds like zantac, carafate, prevacid and prilosec. My daughter when she has tried each of these they gave her alot of gas, abdominal pain and lots of undigested food in her stools and had to discontinue taking them.
