Yep- Lots of the alternative cheeses do contain casein which is a milk protein. I don't tolerate it so I avoid it though I know there are others here who tolerate it OK, so it's pretty much an individual thing and a case of trial and error. If you're stable at present it might be worth giving it a try otherwise I'd wait til you are before doing so.
