Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

I need to share what's helped me w/my IBS-C.

A few months ago, I went on a business trip overseas for a few weeks. There, due to my work schedule, I had no time for my pre-work bathroom session (you know). Here at home, I used to stress out about that, making sure that I'd have enough time to go bathroom before work. After I'd wake up, I'd drink lots of water to get the urge to go. Or i'd eat breakfast. That was where I was going wrong.

At my business trip, I had no time, so I'd grab a cup of coffee (I'm fine w/coffee) and a granola bar I'd packed from home, and I'd have to walk a good 1/2 mile or mile to the office. Well, well, well- I'd later naturally produce a comfortable and solid kind... I was so comfortable and this happened everyday! My bloat was gone. No more C.

I return home and I came back to my old ways. Wake up, drink something/eat something, struggle to go at the slightest urge, go only a little, or if I went 'a lot,' it would not be solid, but little things. I'd leave the bathroom soo bloated. I would then go on my daily morning walk after my bathroom session, still bloated, but would return from my walk still bloated as ever and many times w/cramps. This was a typical day.

So then one day I was thinking, what was I doing so well during that trip that made me feel so awesome and the way I used to feel before IBS-C?

So I tried the other way I did while I was overseas. I would wake up (very hungry) w/a normal flat stomach, go for my daily morning walk- and it was awesome, return home w/o any cramps or bloat, shower, put on my work clothes and eat breakfast. No beverage. About an hour and a half later at work, I feel this gentle urge to go so I go to the bathroom, and voila! Solid, comfortable and no post-session bloat! Flat stomach all day, no bloating.

It was a tiny lifestyle change for me.

Just wanted to share...
