I think you miss understood... she is telling you to do a search on THIS site (on THESE boards) so you can see where this very same topic has been asked about and talked about before. For example: you might be asking a question that you are not aware was just talked about in depth 2 weeks ago. If those that were involved in that discussion read YOUR question, they may not answer you because it has already been talked about. I for one do that or refer them to the thread where it was already talked about.
She was trying to help you by telling you to do a search.
