I take peppermint capsules too 3 times a day because it calms my stomach but have to take citrucel to help me go. I didn't have to use it as often. I used to chew peppermint sugarless gum to calm my stomach then take mylanta to stop the acid. Maybe too much of good thing doesn't always work. So maybe you're right! Wilson
