I don't have firsthand experience of this, but I'm sure other people here have, so maybe someone else will chip in. Here is a link to an article I came across a while back, called "IBS explained for people who don't have IBS": www.ibsgroup.org It might be best to use it as a basis for discussion or to write out your own version - I mean you might not think the tone is right for your boss - or even better you could personalise it by giving examples of work situations that are affected by your IBS. BTW I found the article through a link on a great website called IBS Tales where lots of people with IBS tell their stories - www.ibstales.com. It's a good read and has some interesting links.
