I ski a lot so I do have some advice. First of all for IBS-C it should be really good. Intense exercise is recommended. With IBS-D I've noticed that the skiing doesn't ever give me pain or an attack, but may make me have to go more often. I usually take Imodium on a day that I go skiing to cuz down on frequency.

I'm not sure where you are going but most ski resorts have cafeteria-style food in the lodges (if you're going in for lunch). You may want to look into packing a lunch instead. Most resorts will have a convinience store/small grocery store where you could pick stuff up.

If you aren't stopping for lunch, I suggest packing some snacks either in a bag or your pockets.

I also suggest going in for a break in the morning and one in the afternoon. Let your husband take a run and you can meet up with him after.

And lastly is try to get lots of sleep so you don't over-tire yourself.
