40 years old (41 in May '04), At age 30 after complaining of horrible, unexpected bouts of diarrhea at awkward moments, doctor told me I probably have IBS. Since then IBS has sapped me of confidence in social situations, embarrassed me, and sadly enough limited my lifestyle. I'm sure some (many?) of you can relate.
