Yep, they come out slightly crunchy around the edges. Very good. We have a winner here. Four Yummies.

Thanks so much, Kree, for this recipe. It is awsome! I found some lactose free margarine (fleichman's) and made them. They are not going to last long between me and my boyfriend. Mmmm mmm good.

I made these last night and my family loved them. I told my husband the cookies are low fat and he gave me that look -"you did something new again". He loved them!!

Like you, Barbara, I loved them too. But I did a terrible thing. I put them all away in the cookie jar. Now, normally that would make sense. But in this case, no. You see, that cookie jar is ALWAYS empty. I knew hubby wouldn't look there.  I was saving them all for myself.
I felt so guilty, so selfish, so horrible, I couldn't stand it -- so last night I told hubby where the cookies were.
Now they're almost all gone. 
It's okay, I'll just have to make more, right? 
I feel much better now after confessing.
