I don't think I'd use any applesauce, though, because that would make them very different... much cakier. Although I suppose anything is worth trying! I actually don't use soy margarine either, I use Fleischmann's unsalted... it's dairy-free, but it's not non-hydrogenated, so admittedly it's not as heart-healthy. I've been meaning to try the soy margarine. So you can't get it anywhere in your area?
