It has a removable crock and it's white. I think it might be ceramic almost. It feels like floor tile to be honest LOL. I don't know the brand name off the top of my head because I am at work and the pot is at home.

I can check tonight if you want?

I will absa-tootly have to give that a try then. My goodness I thought grocery shopping would be so easy, but we IBS-ers can't just pick stuff off the shelves and head on home, huh?

Noted about the twice freezing poultry...my goodness you people are gonna make a chef out of me yet - whether I want to or not ....I am learning so much here!

LM - I don't think the brand makes a difference. I just can't figure out why the food has a funny taste. What did you make in it that had the funny taste--everything or just specific foods? BTW, what does plastic taste like????

I have such good luck (most of the time) with my slow cooker. I find that most foods get done quicker than the recipe says, tho.

LM - just stick around, kiddo, and we'll see what we can do. Like I said before in a previous post, cooking can be very creative and adventurous. If you're either one, you will be okay with cooking.

Come on Sharon Honey be honest - you never ate a piece of plastic as a kid and got in trouble for it LOL!
Just Joking!
I only cooked a roast with potatoes and carrots and onions in it. Nothing out of the normal! And it just made the whole meal taste terrible.

Geez - I don't know wht to say except that maybe at the time your cooking skills needed honing maybe!????!!

Why don't you try one of the recipes for crockpots on this forum and see how it comes out. If it tastes terribly like plastic, then something's drastically wrong with that machine. Are you willing to give it a go???

I thought you were at work, so why aren't you working???

Our entire network crashed yesterday and it's gonna take 3 days until we get a new one. So I am just here to answer the phones and take care of inquiries.

In 3 days I will be going hay wire! I will look like Kramer off of Seinfeld next week LOL

LM - I look like Kramer every morning when I wake up! My cat even looks at me funny!!!
Don't get too bored. It's fun to be able to go "back and forth" with someone who's on the board the same time I am.

LOL - You are too funny my gosh.

My cat has quite a personality too - isn't it funny how us cat owners can see those little expressions on their pets faces LOL.
