Chocolate Pancakes!

Chocolate Pancakes
(Makes 6 servings)

I can't wait to try these!!

1/4 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoons cocoa
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon oil
1 egg white
1/4 cup soy milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla

Sift together dry ingredients.
Mix in wet ingredients.
Drop by tbsp onto griddle until each side is browned.

For some reason I couldn't get the right consistency with my pancakes. They seemed too thin and never would get done in the middle no matter how long I left them in the pan. Did I do something wrong???

Did you use a tbsp to drop them in? I think that would make a big difference in the cooking...

Probably too much liquid. Add more flour. I always find when I make pancake batter I either have to add more milk or more flour to get the right consistency, even when I follow the recipe to a T. The laws of Pancake Physics.
