I recently bought some garlic mini bagel chips because the ingredients appeared safe - they do not seem to bother me - and they are good for a snack! Any feedback on these

What brand are they? Are they baked or fried?

The brand is New York Style and they say on the package that they are baked!

Where did you find these? I've been looking for some to make (safe) Chex Mix and cannot find them in any of our local stores.

Thanks.

They should be fine, but be careful of serving sizes and fat content per serving. "Baked" doesn't always equal "low-fat", unfortunately.

It's very easy to make bagel chips, by the way. Cut up bagels into thin slices, lay them out in a single layer on a cookie sheet, spray them with cooking spray, and sprinkle with seasonings of choice. Bake at a low temperature (300 or less) until dry and crispy. Store airtight.

I purchased my bagel chips from the neighborhood dominicks or jewel food stores. They all seem to carry them

no Jewels or Dominicks around here, so I'll try making my own with atomic rose's recipe.
