I have a real basic chili recipe that I am asked to bring everywhere and always asked for the recipe. I have never had such rave reviews for anything I make. (I am making it tomorrow for dinner and for a superbowl party too). Watch out -the beans are still gassy.

My Chili

2# ground turkey breast
2 large onions, chopped
3T. minced garlic
1/2t. each salt and pepper (or to taste)
3T. tequila
1 can stewed tomatoes (chopped in can a little)
1 1/2 cans tomato sauce (can add last bit if needed)
1 can tomato paste
2 cans drained dark red kidney beans
1T. paprika
1T. oregano
1t. chili powder
4 small red chilies, chopped, preferably serrano

Brown meat with onions and garlic. Add remaining ingredients in a crock-pot or dutch oven and heat gently as long as desired. Serve with Pillsbury corn bread if desired.

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
