garlic taters - another holiday treat

This one is from my childhood.. mom kept kosher- so no milk in things served with meat meals... most of the time she served mashed potatos... so this was her solution:

boil cubed potatoes and 1 clove garlic per large potato (less if your not big on garlic, more if you prefer more)

when fully cooked- both the garlic and the potato should be soft to the fork. Drain liquid, and mash using chicken broth as needed to add extra moisture... occasionally mom would use a bit of bullion or not even and the same water she had boiled the taters in instead!

I'm making them with canned safe chicken broth tonight.
